Omakase Sake Dinner at Nobu Lana'i

It is an unforgettable experience for your mind and palette to pair sake with a meal from one of the world’s most innovative and exceptional chefs, which is why Nobu Lanai is pleased to announce their next event.

The Omakase Sake Dinner at Nobu Lanai will be an intimate gathering held on Saturday, June 22nd at 6:00pm that will showcase a beautifully crafted meal based off of Chef Nobu’s culinary inspiration. Executive Chef Oyvind Naesheim will present a seven-course meal to 30 guests that will be prepared with sake from Chef Nobu’s 140 year-old sake brand.

The dishes served will be paired with beautiful Hokusetsu sake from Sado Island off the coast of the Niigata prefecture in Japan. Hokusetsu means “northern snow” and gets its name from the harsh winters on Sado Island. The climate and temperature is a key component in the creation of this sake, as it is brewed during the coldest days of the year to develop its taste and smooth quality. The Omakase Sake dinner will not only highlight the many flavors and elements of each sake, but it will play off the flavors and textures of the dishes created by Chef Naesheim.

Reservations for this exclusive event can be made by emailing lea.hennessy@fourseasons.com or by calling (808) 565-2388.
