With summer just around the corner, it is time to bring some sunshine back into the bar! That is exactly what Janel Truong from Nobu Dallas did with this month’s Grand Cordon winning cocktail, the “Yamagori.”

“Yamagori” translates to the combination of peach and nigori sake, so it is only fitting that the sweet, summery notes of this drink are what really make it a knockout. With muddled serrano peppers that add a spicy bite, the Yamagori will wake up your palette and leave you feeling refreshed and invigorated.

The Yamagori was created by Nobu Dallas bartender, Janel Truong, who has been with Nobu Restaurants since 2011, and her creative use of flavors and ingredients allows her to continue to present incredible cocktails that reflect the Nobu style. The Yamagori consists of Nigori sake, lychee juice, serrano peppers, and peach schnapps with sliced peaches and lychee fruit as a garnish.

Enjoy the Yamagori at your nearest Nobu Restaurant and let us know how you like it!
