South Beach Wine and Food Festival 2014

Celebrating all things culinary in a desirable location, the South Beach Wine and Food Festival features all that is hip and glorious in the food world. This star-studded, beach-adjacent festival is the only place where you get to be gluttonous and glamorous. For four days, food industry professionals and fans gather in Miami to celebrate their common interest. The SOBEWFF has events to please just about everyone.

The more zen foodie will love YogArt presents Buddhas and Bellinis, which combines yoga, wine, and light treats poolside at the Oasis at The Raleigh Hotel. This event offsets all the binge eating of glorious food you are likely to take part in at the rest of the festival. 

Wine seminars are a must attend at the South Beach Wine and Food Festival, such as this one, which promises to appeal to neophytes and experts.

And if you’ve been dreaming of a food-related event inspired by an HBO show, then dream no longer. Treme, The Heart of New Orleans Dinner, hosted by Anthony Bourdain, Susan Spicer, Wylie Dufresne, & Emeril Lagasse, draws inspiration from the New Orleans-based show and the cuisine of the city.

We’re perhaps a little biased, but the Ultimate Asian Lunch hosted by Nobu Matsuhisa & Hiroko Shimbo will be one of the festival’s highlights. Held at Nobu Miami, this lunch pairs dishes with various rosé from the Château D’Esclans estate in St.-Tropez. A sushi rolling class with Nobu Matsuhisa himself and Executive Sushi Chef Oscar Norborikawa is also available as a VIP interactive experience to add on to this already outstanding event. This Nobu appearance is the follow-up to the chef being a SOBEWFF 2013 Tribute Dinner honoree.
